I observed two weaknesses in the pack.  The first was weak facets near the ground that would fail causing all the new snow to crack and slump.  The second weakness was a shallow wind slab that was forming during the day that would crack as well.  We observed a few small slopes where this layer released naturally but not running or running a short distance.
