A strengthening mid-pack has formed a weak bridge over the facets, which is limiting natural activity.  As we continue to add weight I suspect that we will see a natural cycle with depth hoar near the ground as the failure. 

Most of the failures are concentrated in the NSF layer just below the rain crust.
