Faceted snow plagues most upper elevation slopes in the area.  Well developed depth hoar in the basal layer appears pressed into terrain and vegetation at this elevation… No elevating mf October base in this area… On smooth slopes, deep releases still a concern.  Nearby remote triggered avalanches on mid-pack nsf layer (1mm faceted snow)…
