Lack of propagation in tests.  We skied a section of this open shot at a spot that was a little steeper than where we dug the pit.  Snow was deep, supportive, right-side up.  Sloughs in the new snow were slow and fairly shallow (top 10 cm).  Total of 15 cm (6 in) new snow.
