Route:Alta, Michiagan City, East Bowl, West Bowl, Alta.
Overall, the snowpack was very stable with around a 34" depth. There was an ice layer a couple inches above the ground and the snow was not bonded well to that layer. The south and east aspects had a variable crust. Some natural sluffs of the new snow had occured on north and west aspects.
Some fairly steep lines in East and West Bowl being skied on low snow.
Exit on the south aspect of Alta was only about 6" with a 1-2" crust.
