This scary snowpack structure still exists in areas that haven't avalanched and had pre-existing faceted snow.  The good thing is the avalanche cycle was extensive and many paths avalanched.  The bad thing is it is difficult to tell from a quick look if there are areas like this structure still lingering just waiting for a trigger.
