Faceted snow is still quite weak, but no propagation noted in ECT....

Spread out on my shovel for better viewing, sugar-like faceted snow from near the base of the shallow snowpack on Chicken Hill.

Drifting filled in our tracks in a matter of hours. Here a 3' deep drift formed on our 3-hour old snowmobile track just north of Tony Grove Lake.
