Comments:

Upper elevation terrain is off to a great start and slopes facing the sun are maintaining some strength and structure. In the short term, the supportable crusts are allowing easy navigation around rocks and stumps. However, we'll have to keep an eye on these slick bed surfaces as they may become a player once the weather pattern turns more stormy.
