Sunny in the morning then high clouds started moving in during the day.  Wind was stronger with elevation.

Snow conditions were good out of the wind but strong winds scalloped the snow and created dense windpacked pockets of snow.  Much of the non-tree protected snow was wind damaged.

Red Flag Comments: 

Our first red flag was a wind loading that could be seen from low down in the drainage.  The next red flag was a  very small pocket that slid naturally on the lee side of a roll-over.  As we climbed higher we saw a decent slide in the birthday chutes.
