Riding conditions were a mix- cold powder on upper Northerly facing slopes which transitioned to a more "spongy" snowpack at lower elevations. Crust on S and W aspects. New snow was less than an inch by mid afternoon with obvious wind transport off the peaks. Damp steady snow fall at lower evelations made for a wet exit out Mill D.
I kept it low angle today and stability tests were unexciting on North 26 degree slope at 8800ft.
