Nice, with soft rime up high.. A bit mushy down lower and melted off some slopes at the bottom of Providence Canyon.

The cornices on lee slopes have grown tremendously in the last week.... These overhanging monsters present a serious threat to backcountry travelers who often can't tell from above that they are on an unstable feature....

We observed evidence of a number of natural avalanches, some from overnight and larger ones from overnight 12/19-12/20.... These were on upper elevation slopes facing north through southeast......
