loose snow with surface hoar. snow depth 77cm at 8110' 29 degree slope.

ECTX

CTE5 @65cm Q1 8-10mm BURIED SURFACE HOAR.  ALSO ANOTHER SUSPECT LAYER AT 45cm WHERE IT GOES TO FACETS ALL THE WAY TO GROUND. 

Sun exposed slopes had a melt/freeze crust and were either bare or extremely brushy. More like May.

Also of note we had cracking and collapsing all over. One long shooting crack with a collapse on a north slope 8300' went 50'.  Amazingly not releasing.
