We noted several good examples of persistent instability including a couple big, several acre whoomfs or audible collapses and spiderwebbing sometimes remote triggered shooting cracks...

Traveling on a low angled bench we passed beneath a scoop with a good deal of freshly wind deposited snow....  Even as the second to cross below the scoop,  my weight was enough to remotely trigger a collapse and shooting cracks in the outlined shape of a sizable slab, which failed and moved an inch but did not avalanche with the flattening of the slope below.....
