Nice day to be out looking at the remnants of the natural avalanche cycle this past weekend.

5-6" new light density snow at the higher elevations. The terrain is slowly getting filled-in however, it's still a bottom- less pack with little base underneath for sled traction.

Not as widespread as earlier, but the collapsing and cracking continues. It looks like a pretty good natural avalanche cycle occurred during the intense storm.

I don't know if I can remember when every road cut along the Mirror Lk. Hwy had debris in it? The weekend storm really put the snow pack over the edge.

I was able to get this slope to crack by riding the machine along the edge of the road but, it did not avalanche.
