 Cold and clear this morning with increasing high clouds and light winds blowing a little snow around on the ridgelines.

 Nice powder snow making for great riding and turning, with almost enough new snow to cover-up the old tracks. About a foot of new snow fell in the Whitney Basin on Thursday.

 I was able to find some of the older wind slabs along the ridgelines to be reactive to the weight of a person.

 If the winds get going this evening there is plenty of snow to blow around and create fresh wind slabs which would likely increase the hazard for tomorrow.     Today's issue appeared to be small new snow sluffs and a few shallow wind slabs that were triggered off the ridgelines.
