Wind was calm when we dug pit. Picked up as the afternoon wore on. Snow precipitation picked up intensity as well.

New snow about 10cm deep. Wind crust beneath new snow. On steeper slopes and off ridges new snow was extremely sensitive to ski cuts. Did not propagate any further than length of skis when kicked.

From observations on 11/27/10 there was a thin wind slab on some north aspects that had elastic strength. Extended Column Test (ECTX) that did not propogate even at 30+ with both my partner and I pounding on it.
