Depending on how much water weight the new snow brings could make the weak facet grains above the crust become active again. The new snow settled into a fairly dense slab sitting on top of these weak grains. Be careful not to be lured into the high smooth terrain, this is exactly the area that could avalanche. The lower angled slopes had nice turns to be found and skied very nice.
