It snowed 2 inches last night with a bunch of graupel mixed in. This is in addition to the 2 inches from two days ago.

There is good turning on dry snow above 7000 ft. The below mentioned rain crust is not supportable but easily skied through. There is now about 4 inches ontop of the rain crust. It is more prevalent in this  Ben Lomond area than the Snowbasin area at the same elevation I have noticed.

this is a video of the rain crust below 7500 ft. It rained hard on feb 2nd. Below the crust the snow is loose, granular and almost a vaccum. I wonder what will happen if ever get a slab on top of it.
