Comments
Coverage is decent at the high point of The Henry's but the clock is ticking. We found the snow up high stable albeit variable with a mixture of wind crusts, melt freeze crusts, and occasional good corn. It could be foreseen that stability will decrease as warming really ramps up. Already the lower sections of the slide paths are challenging to ski by end of day as they have become unconsolidated moosh. The road as of Saturday was fairly snow free until about a mile shy of Dandelion flats, temps did not drop below freezing at this elevation (8k). By next weekend the road might clear all the way to Log Flat.
Enjoy the spectacular experience of skiing this peak while it lasts!
