Snow Characteristics Comments
We found the best conditions in sheltered terrain. Northerly forested areas were the best, with some recent tree bombs due to windy conditions. The snow was inverted, especially where affected by the wind.

Comments
The dust layer from March 1 is very apparent in most areas. Here it was dust within a layer of wind-drifted snow. The new snow from the last few days is pretty well-bonded to the dusty layer.
The southwest wind has no mercy. A powder disaster! Yesterrday's perfect powder was wrecked by the wind on many slopes....
Today, the fresh snow was inverted and it was a chore to break trail.
