Storm snow from Wednesday is settling but still deep and relatively dense. The sun zapped whatever it touched directly, if even for a few minutes. Due N facing slopes stayed cold and dry. We found damp snow on S facing and crusted snow on W facing.

Red Flags Comments
We observed numerous shallow loose snow avalanches that occurred during Wednesday's sleeper storm. They were all on very steep slopes and only about 6" deep. Miller Bowl had quite a few still very visible under a few inches of snow. Could see no obvious crowns from our vantage points. Storm instabilities appear to be healing quickly. It did not get warm enough for wet activity today above 8000'.
Comments
Bad backlit photo of loose storm snow avalanches in Miller's.
