4" of new snow this morning at the trail head, sitting in top of at least another 6" from the day before. Overall storm snow seems to be 12" at the trail to 24" above 8000'.
today I had localized collapsing in many locations, but no cracking. I felt as if the snow was right side up in this location and not much of a new slab, just deep powder.
Finally feel like the lower elevation is starting to really come in.
