Medium
Snow Surface Conditions:
Dense Loose
Snow Characteristic Comments:

As day heated up, snow went whipped cream, heavy cream, ice cream.  We purposely went for due north sheltered area, big subalpine firs.  Even then, the wind has stilll cross loaded and built drifts in the trees nearer the ridgeline and in more exposed areas.  Nevertheless, snow was consistent until you got on to flats, then would quickly change to breakable crust.  An additional day makes alot of difference.  Not as slabby in this area, ski cuts on steep breakovers did not give the same results Grant got yesterday, but he was in more East facing and more wind exposed area around the corner from where we were.
