Strong winds particlarly in the morning.  Telemetry recorded gusts to 40 mph.  Not so bad in the afternoon.  WNW winds did considerable damage to west facing slopes.

New snow was mixed with a good deal of grauple.  Riding conditions were variable depending on what the wind was doing.  More protected areas had enough new snow to cover a weak crust.

The dense new snow plus the wind made for dense drifts of new snow along ridges.  I wasn't able to get much movement or cracking from these.
