20-30cm of the 16 and 17 Feb Storm snow was not nearly dense enough to keep you from bottom feeding. Traveling conditions were decent where the pre storm interface/ 16 Feb Crust was smooth and consistent but most terrain had a very gruff and inconsistent bed surface with a mix of thick, wind sculpted features reminding me of the snowy white wastelands of an Ansel Adams photograph. That said- did find generally good stability with slope cuts producing only minor propagation of a reluctant and isolated 4 finger slab out of steep features- involving only the 16 Feb storm snow and running loosely with minimal energy.
