About 120 cm of snow at 8100' and close to 2 meters at 10000'. This area is quite rocky and I did notice some weak faceted snow and depth hoar in rocky terrain. About as stable pit as I have ever seen in the Wasatch. The only stability test to fail was a compression test failing at CT22/Q3 about 40 cm down in the snowpack. The top few cm is very light-density dendrites that fell during the morning hours. I was out the day before in Millcreek Canyon and noticed some surface hoar and near-surface faceting, but did not notice especially weak snow near the surface. Ski cuts on steep aspects could only get the new snow to sluff, and it wasn't entraining much snow nor was it moving fast. We'll see what happens the rest of this week, but as of now am feeling the snow surface currently isn't especially weak < 10000'.
