 Very cold on the exposed ridges.  lots of snow being transported building large and sensitive cornices.

Interface between the old and new snow.  Our pit did not show any significant instabilities, but a quick hand pit did lend some concern about this potential.  There very likely some sensitive pockets that could break at this interface.

Cornices on the ridge line were sensitive and breaking back further than expected.
