Snow Characteristic Comments:

About a 1" snow event overnight with mostly graupel. Was not getting clean shears at the new snow/old snow interface. Did look at this interface suspecting a possible surface hoar event with high humidity the past few nights, but no surface hoar was observed. Shady aspects provide fast & fun skiing,

Not much new to say. Submitted an observation as I did a full pit profile that I wanted to upload. Stability tests all show a big green circle for our current avalanche danger rose. Snowpack was deep (180 cm) at 9800' in upper LCC. Strength/energy looks real good. Some structure issues with stouter slabs sitting on top of weaker snow underneath, but the weak layers look pretty strong - and are continuing to gain strength - and the slabs have no energy.
