Snow Characteristic Comments:

Found good moderate density granular powder (30-50cm of 6-8 March slightly inverted storm snow) in mid and upper elevation N ¼ terrain. Previous storm weaknesses and W ¼ wind deposits (F- 4F) were unreactive to slope cuts (even on steep convexities). Plenty of “green housing” at lower elevations with a moist snow surface evident all aspects below about 8500ft. Breakable Radiation Crust (9 March) on the S ½ all elevations.
