Still soft snow on N and NE facing terrain in higher elevation areas. Stiff melt/freeze crust on all other aspects. We were looking for the MLK crust to see if there was a major temp change or if the layer was starting to bond with the snow around it. The top 10 cm or so was reactive, and we noticed a 3 degree temp change about 140cm off of the ground. This area did not propagate on an ECT but did fracture on CT.
