"Dug a pit anyway because of hearing of some false stable pit results that some parties were getting.  No false stable here...ECTP 13 Q1 SP at 23cms from the ground.  Maybe the false stable results are coming in from deeper snowpack areas.  It seems the slab may be gaining strength but the weak layer definitely isn't.  The structure of the snowpack is just as poor as it was a week ago".
