Weather Discussion

  • 02/02/2012 - 1:02pm
  • A pesky low pressure will continue to spin to our southeast producing gusty east winds into tonight without any significant additional snow accumulation.  This system doesn't move much and will hang around into the week end producing clouds through Friday.  Winds will slow and gradually switch more southeast and then south into the weekend.

Extended Outlook

  • Benign weather sets in during the weekend and lasts through next week with no new snow visible.  The ridge is the dominant feature with models suggesting some closed low's trying to slide underneath us.  Skies will clear out for the most part and temperatures increase a bit slowly but never get really warm.  Should be a perfect stretch of weather to assault our snowpack some more.
