Route Map: 

Grizzly Gulch to Patsy Marley:  Park at the end of the LCC road (above the upper Alta parking lot)   and follow the Alta summer trail to where it wraps back toward Michigan City.  Avoid the lower Grizzly Gulch terrain traps.  Ascend back through the firs and spruces to gain the Patsy Marley ridge, and continue to the summit.  Stunning views of LCC and upper BCC.  Ascend the ridgeline with care to avoid the cornice line.  Two miles and 1700’ elevation gain.  Dogs are not allowed in the watershed of LCC.
