Help fund the Utah Avalanche Center!!

Ski Utah, in partnership with Utah ski resorts and Backcountry.com, is selling discount lift tickets with all proceeds going to support the non-profit Friends of the Utah Avalanche Center (FUAC). A unique partnership, this initiative will help the FUAC generate funding for their education, outreach and avalanche forecasting programs, of which there is a projected $50,000 budget shortfall, in addition to the shortfall from rising costs combined with static funding. Purchasing these tickets is a great way to get fresh tracks when backcountry danger is high, while helping to support all the outstanding resources the Utah Avalanche Center (UAC) provides.

These tickets were donated by the participating ski areas and every penny goes to keeping us going.  Consider this a way to make a donation and get a free day of skiing.  What a great excuse to call in sick on a storm day - we won't tell.
