Snow Profile Comments
As expected the new wet snow has created a very unstable snowpack. Observed cracking of the new snow while skinning the low angle trees near Montreal Hill. Compression test failed while cutting block.
Comments
Observed two natural avalanches across the valley coming down Reed and Benson Ridgeline. Appeared to start as new snow slabs. Ran the full length on both paths in Picture. Observed from partway up Montreal Hill.
