Comments
Was hiking up just east of dog leg in Providence and noticing how Wasatched the dog leg area was, and wondering at which point skier compactification plays a role in forecasting. I stepped on a few steep rolls (>40) and stuff was sliding on the nasty dirt layer. Anyway, about 100-200 meters east of dog leg a cornice had broken off taking a pretty good amount of snow with it. There was about 12" of new snow involved, and it left a largish debris pile. Sorry no photos though.
