General Comments

We viewed two avalanches coming down the White Pearl Gully (just west of Perla's Ridge) on 4/2/2011. The first was at 1:00 pm. We were unable to get any photos or video, but it was almost identical to the second which occurred at 2:30 pm. The photos and video are all of the second avalanche at 2:30 pm. We viewed the avalanches from the Dihedrals climbing area across the canyon. Both avalanches originated high in the White Pearl Gully and ran full track all the way down into the trees near the bottom of the canyon.
