General Comments

Triggered while skinning the high traverse. Cracking was noted seconds before trigger. While most of the west facing slope did not have much snow and sheltered section released near the ridgetop. A bumpy ride down with scarps and bruises.

Alta Ski Area was not open yet for the season.
