General Comments

This slide released about 9 am 1/27. We believe it resulted from a natural cornice fall, but when we visited it in the afternoon there were ski tracks on the ridge, so maybe we will be corrected. Note how far the slide ran down the gully. An avalanche fatality occurred in this area in the early 2000s.
