Snow Profile
Snow Profile Comments:

This is a pit from yesterday at South Mountain. Similar Elevation and Aspect to the Noriega's slides we saw today. Likely Surface hoar problem from around Feb 1st. coverd by Feb 5-7 snowfall. Still active! This pit has been dug in an area with a much deeper snowpack and does not reflect the Depth Hoar/NSF problems we have in the central and northern groups. Probably quite representative in the upper pack though.
