General Comments

Strong northerly winds were doing an excellent job cross loading this feature.  These N-NE winds are very unusual for our area.  Skyline veteran Steve Cote commented that, "I've never seen an avalanche in this location before."  The feature cross loaded until the cornice reached it's threshold, the small mid slope cornice failed, and out popped this size 2 avalanche.
