Snow Profile
Snow Profile Comments:

While skiing an east facing slope today one in our party triggered a wet slide.  We were skiing in the NE margin of the drainage, enjoying cold, sluffy powder turns when one particularly determined dry sluff traveled out of the shadows and onto a SE aspect.  The dry sluff transformed into a much larger wet avalanche when it hit the damp snow and proceeded to cover parts of the skin track we'd traveled up two hours before.
