General Comments
We kicked this guy loose yesterday about 1:30p in the Manti La Sal - Skyline area (Fairview Canyon) while ski touring. We had one of our partners scouting ahead on snowmobile and triggered this just above us. The crown averaged about 3.5 feet and it ran close to 200' wide when all was said and done. Aspect was Northwest facing and elevation was close to 9300' I assume and the pitch was close to 35 degrees or so.

Sounds were very intense and loud with a strong hollow-whoomfing sound when it broke off.
