Comments
Widespread avalanche Cycle throughout entire Southern Wasatch. Majority of avalanches are hard slabs on repeater slopes with the larger D3's being on easterly 10,000'+ bowls just below crest level ridge lines on wind loaded slopes. Bunnell's and Emerald Lake's are 5'-8' deep and over 1000' wide. Some lower elevations SS-N avalanches failed on either possible preserved surface hoar and/or RR crust facets preserved from being in sheltered locations (Elk Point Slide). The largest and most notable avalanches occurred in Bunnell's White Limbo, and the other above the Emerald Lake Snow Field.
